SOITRON, a.s. was founded in 2003 with capital stock SKK 3 million, and with a main goal to provide outsourcing services to Hewlett Packard (hereinafter ”HP“). Soitron was founded by company Tronet together with Spanish partner Soitsa, as an attempt to establish a company providing high-quality outsourcing services to the entire European region. The Aquila project, which was initiated by HP in 2003 and aimed to develop Delivery Support Centres in Europe, became an appropriate starting point, since one of these Centres is located in Bratislava.
Main tender for outsourcing service providers to HP was arranged for the period of August – November 2003. Company Tronet, a.s. best met HP criteria and consequently obtained an opportunity to participate in the unique project. In cooperation with company Soitsa Spain/Portugal, Tronet, a.s. founded a new company SOITRON, a.s.
Soitron represents an integration of foreign know-how, since Soitsa had been providing technical support services to HP for a few years, and a very good local IT market knowledge, since Tronet, a.s. is one of communication solutions leaders on the Slovak market.
Immediately following its foundation, most of the services to HP and its customers at the newly established technical support centre called ”Managed Services Delivery Centre“ was supplied by subsidiary SOITRON, a.s.
During 2004, the number of Soitron employees increased to 220 and subsequently to approx. 320 specialists at the end of the 1st half of 2005. At the beginning of 2005, the shares purchse process from SOITSA was completed and Soitron became 100%-controlled by Tronet Top Management.
Another important step taken was the integration of both companies that resulted in establishing of prestigious IT services provider, with more than 700 employees and annual turnover more than SKK 1,4 billion. SOITRON, a.s. took over all operations, the know-how and market position established by Tronet, a.s during the past 15 years of its existence.

It focuses on technical areas such as IP telephony, call centres, security, IT outsourcing and data networks. With more than 750 employees it is able to cover the communication needs of medium and large firms and institutions. The company has a consolidated annual turnover over SKK 1.4 billion.
