IP Telephony

The main idea of IP Telephony is to use the existing company’s communication infrastructure for voice transmission.

IP Telephony substitutes common phone calling and in addition it provides many other advantages – e.g. significant phone cost savings since data zone is effectively used for voice transmission, administration simplification, movement and changes of users,  because IP Telephony is administered by standard networktools, and others.

IP Telephony is based on proven standards and open interfaces. It is a solution that provides unlimited room for additional properties extensions through added applications. It allows integration above database services within an organization (company directory, client directory, etc.). 

IP phone is not only a phone in the regular sense. It is an intelligent device that can display any information on the monitor, that is stored in the IT system. Call direction is made by software centre that is concurrently able to control image transmission and cooperate with video-conference systems. Accordingly, there are many applications increasing effectiveness of work with IP Telephony. 

IP Telephony provides all the usual properties of phone centres – e.g. scoring system, voice boxes or contact centres built over IP Telephony, as well as phone directories, displaying of selected information related to the dialled number (caller name, company name), sending of text messages, ordering lunch, exchange rate list, weather forecast and plenty of other information.

IP Telephony represents a solution with high protection level and effective return on investment.
